Of course you can! That goes without saying; I doubt you would buy your wedding dress without trying it on first, so absolutely yes! Lets meet up have a coffee, chat about what you both want from your wedding day and then you can go home and decide if you would like me to create a bespoke wedding ceremony for your perfect day. Don’t panic  it’s obligation free.

HOW DO WE BOOK?

Drop me a line…or give me a bell….. The most important thing that you remember is that the Notice of Intended Marriage form MUST be lodged with your chosen celebrant no less than one month and one day before the proposed wedding day…..so don’t leave it until the last minute!

DO YOU WRITE EVERYTHING FOR US?

I can write your entire ceremony from scratch – or we can blend all of our ideas together…either way, I will make sure that your ceremony is exactly what you both want, and that it fits in seamlessly with the other aspects of your perfect wedding day.

WHAT WILL YOU WEAR?

Hey!!! It’s your big day!!! It’s all about you!!  I promise I will wear something that fits in with your wedding, and doesn’t look terrible in any pictures ( although I do my best to avoid the camera so your photographer can get as many clear shots of you and your party as possible )  And if you have any special requests I’ll do my best to accommodate them – within reason!!)

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

I remember planning my own wedding budget and watching the total add up at an alarming rate.  A simple weekend wedding in a registry office will cost you $507…and some celebrants will charge upwards of $1000.  I am somewhere in between….The most important thing for me is that YOU get exactly what you want. The celebrant is probably one of the least expensive things when planning a wedding but its also something that, if done properly, will set the tone for the rest of the night leave your guests with a truly unforgettable memory!  I put a LOT of effort into writing my ceremonies because we only get one chance – it HAS to be perfect as it’s not like a movie – we don’t get a second “take”

HOW MANY MEETINGS WILL WE HAVE TO HAVE?

Well….as many as you as want, to be honest.  Usually I would meet with you to have an obligation free chat, and then if you decided that you want me to create your ceremony, we would follow up with another meeting to discuss details and lodge the NOIM.  However, you might live a long way from Mudgee and find it hard to get down here.  No worries! You can have your NOIM witnessed elsewhere and lodge it with me via post – although I will need to sight the original documents before the wedding day.

We can have unlimited communication via email, phone, skype etc and of course I will be available for a rehearsal, but you have to book that in a little in advance.  You don’t have to have a rehearsal as I will make sure EVERYONE knows what they are supposed to be doing on the day before the ceremony begins, but if it helps to calm your nerves, why not send the boys and the bridal party along so THEY all know what to do…and you can breeze effortlessly down the aisle on the day? ( That’s what I did !!)
